We invite you to be a part of providing Christ Lutheran School with your support!
Christ Lutheran School is more than a school – it is a community of Christian families with common purpose. The Development Department of CLS exists to assist our community of parents, grandparents, alumni, faculty, students and friends in supporting CLS through giving. We offer a variety of opportunities that include supporting our operating budget through the Annual Fund, helping families determine optimal Planned Giving options for their situation, and exciting events that fund special projects.
Planned Giving allows donors to increase their support through estate gift planning and can be adapted to each donor’s needs. The donor can leave money/assets to a nonprofit at his/her death; or a way to invest money so that the donor receives benefits during his/her life and then bequeaths the remaining funds to the nonprofit. Because Planned Giving is a complex program of various financial instruments, CLS enlists professional help in setting up their planned giving programs.
Matching Gifts are provided by many companies to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift. Some companies also provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. Find out if your company offers a matching gift program by asking your company’s human resources if they offer matching gifts.
GALA/SILENT AUCTION:
Our Galla/Silent Auction is held every fall and helps raise funds for CLS. Our CLS Family and Sponsors help make the Galla a huge success every year!
